College Majors..

"Most popular, highest paying, most likely to get you a job. That's how we judge what a person should study. Wonder what Aristotle would think. It makes us look like savages. Perhaps Archimedes should have studied what was most popular. If not that, then what was most likely to get him a job. In his day. Possibly making mud bricks. Or some type of slavery. Galley slave? That would have been an easy job to get.
Gotta love today's college students. Less integrity than galley slaves. They are such debased, immoral cowards it is hard to imagine what will become of this country. Imagine studying what you are interested in, or what you have an affinity for, or what would be progress for mankind. Is that too much to ask from your 12-16th year of education? You've spent 12 years learning nothing already, more time than any people in history as far as peasants like you ever had a chance. How about actually learning something for those last 4 years."

How Schools Kill Creativity

Ted Talk: Ken Robinson: How schools kill creativity

"I think there is a huge problem to define: what the Intelligence is?, we always define this in terms of notes, we are actually educated to be "clones", forgetting the most precious idea in the human kind: we are all different, and it´s useless try to establish who is outstanding and who is "normal", outstanding on what? in follow orders? because we are all different and we have different capacities, some of us are really good on sciences, others on sports, others on arts and there is no way in winch one person good on arts could overpass another good on sciences if they perform a test focus on sciences, because their minds essentially work different, I saw how something so simple as perform additions and subtractions it´s understood with different mind process from one person to another, so what is the point? the point is that we can´t be educated with the assumption that we think on the same way and we have the same skills because we don´t, and this is killing our creativity and our spirit because we never found our skills, our personality, because our educational system only admits one correct answer and one correct behavior."  -Eder Aguilar

How To Save the World?

I have always had trouble answering this question. I mean, how do you save the world? It just doesn't happen overnight. How can one person even make a significance to the world. I have always admired Gandhi and Martin Luther King's dedication and bravery for even trying to attempt such a task. In some ways you could say they succeeded. In others, you could say they started it or began the movement.

No one can tell you how or where to start. If it's hard just trying to even answer the question in general, then it's probably gonna be hard trying to start. Everyone has their moment of realization or knowing that they can accomplish it.

To those who have the passion like me to make a difference or to even try to save/change the world..I found this little motivator...

Haven't blogged for awhile so excuse the shortness..

"To This Day"

I have not posted in a few weeks. But I have come back with this speechless Ted talk..yes a ted talk. I watched the first 3 minutes and I knew I had to post this video. It paints a reflection of what it is like to be bullied, what its like to be young, what its like to be different. I hope you will enjoy this as much as I did.

Ted Talk "To this day for the bullied and beautiful"-  by a young poet named Shane Koyczan:

Blank Message

Sometimes I don't even know what to write anymore. I guess its like a form of writers block. Either I write about the world or I write about how I view the world. It's as if my mind has gone blank. But then I started to question myself....
What do you do when you have a blank canvas? What do you do when you have a blank piece of paper? Do you write or paint without any thought. Or do you express your feelings, desires, needs, goals, dreams, things that your not, things you want to be.

And what if there was a blank message, something that could inspire or change people. What would your message be? Where would you start it? Will it guide you anywhere or anyone somewhere?

You see a blank message...can mean alot..
so what did this one mean to you...

Dumb of Silence

The dumb of silence

It's something that can be cured, but few have cured it. It's four simple words, but means so much. It describes our society, humanity, the people. Just four words, describe the cage we put ourselves in. Each and every day, we walk with the dumb of silence. But with this, many will ignore it or forget about it in a couple of days. So few will actually take action or understand the words. We enjoy comfort and sameness. But deep down we longer for change. Will you still walk..with the dumb of silence?

"If the freedom of speech is taken away then dumb and silent we may be led, like sheep to the slaughter." - George Washington
